Your Role The Enterprise Applications DevOps and Platform Delivery Team is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Lead with deep subject matter expertise in both DevOps practice and technology, located in downtown Toronto or Montreal. Reporting to the Sr Manager, DevOps and Delivery Platforms, you will contribute to the DevOps practice, influence software engineering practices, modernize the Enterprise Application Development Strategy, and empower developers to be more self-sufficient and productive. Key Responsibilities Implement, automate, support CI/CD pipelines for Cloud and on‑premise C# (.NET Framework and .NET Core) and Python applications. Manage and support Cloud and on‑premise infrastructure. Develop and maintain automations for infrastructure provisioning and deprovisioning. Provide support to development teams and stakeholders. Develop monitoring, alerting, and self‑healing functionality for CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and common business application patterns. Standardize release management and support processes for all Enterprise Applications initiatives. Collaborate with Application Development, Software Architecture, InfoSec, and Enterprise Data Management teams to enforce best practices. Implement automated deployment and testing tools to reduce errors, optimize delivery times, and improve customer experience. Participate in the Cloud Evolution modernization project. Incorporate Secure‑by‑Design concepts into the development lifecycle and deployment pipeline. Create reusable automation libraries and APIs for Enterprise Applications. Assist with architectural diagrams and design specifications for automation. Document application platform and product support processes. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Strong experience with C#, Python, PowerShell, PowerCLI, and Git (Bitbucket, GitHub). Knowledge of at least one Cloud platform (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud). In‑depth knowledge of Linux, UNIX, Windows, and virtualization (VMWare). In‑depth knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Expertise in infrastructure configuration, networking, security, and performance monitoring. Experience provisioning Azure environments (Azure Portal, Azure CLI, ARM, Terraform, Helm, Ansible). Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Interest in agile methodologies (SCRUM certification is an asset). Desired Skills Strong development background and operational mindset. Familiarity with current trends and industry best practices. Self‑starter who leads through influence. Excellent communication and coaching skills. Team player with analytical and creative problem‑solving abilities. Ability to multitask with concurrent priorities. Experience working with remote teams.
