Dietary Aide Nutrition Services

Support Nutrition Services at Grandview District Hospital through food preparation, therapeutic diets, and safe meal distribution. This 0.60 FTE day-shift position includes 7.75-hour daily shifts.

Prairie Mountain Health seeks a Dietary Aide for Grandview District Hospital and Grandview Personal Care Home. Working under Nutrition Services direction, you will assemble meals, follow menu specifications, maintain sanitation, and operate the cash register. The position supports clients across hospital and personal care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and distribute meals according to portion standards
• Prepare therapeutic and texture-modified diets
• Clean and sanitize food service areas and equipment
• Deliver food carts and collect soiled trays
• Monitor temperatures, leftovers, labeling, and storage

Requirements:

• Grade 10 Manitoba Standards or equivalent education and experience
• Current Food Handler Training Certificate Level 1
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs and Internet applications
• Demonstrated organization, dexterity, speed, and efficient methods
• Ability to work independently and respect confidentiality
