Lead electrical project scopes at Saltworks Technologies in Richmond, BC, using engineering judgment, commissioning expertise, and detailed planning. Support water treatment systems from design through startup.
Saltworks seeks a Junior Electrical Project Engineer with one to four years of relevant industrial or plant-based experience. You will manage electrical planning, budgeting, execution, and project documentation while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. The work supports industrial water treatment projects and sustainable technology development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical scopes for industrial water treatment projects
- Prepare work packages, installation instructions, and materials
- Coordinate suppliers and vendors for component procurement
- Develop commissioning and testing plans
- Support onsite startup, troubleshooting, and commissioning
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Registered or eligible for EGBC Professional Engineer registration
- One to four years of relevant industrial experience
- Knowledge of Canadian or United States Electrical Codes
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
Develop project leadership while applying electrical design, procurement, testing, and commissioning skills to Saltworks water treatment systems.
