Senior Director, Distribution

Reporting into the Sr. VP, Distribution, the Senior Director of Distribution (SDOD) will be responsible for the overall financial, sales, execution and operational performance of the RedBull Canada Distribution Company business, which includes locations across multiple provinces. The SDOD will have the overall responsibility of driving and developing a world class retail sales and execution team ensuring best in class sales, operations process and routines. In addition, s/he will build and inspire a winning team that epitomizes the Company’s Values. Key leadership traits include building, leading, coaching and developing a high performing leadership team to include, Sales and Operations and is a senior field level leader within the organization from a sales and operations perspective. RESPONSIBILITIES 12+ years of management experience in both beverage supplier and distributor businesses with a Direct Store Delivery (DSD) model, including proven track record of meeting or exceeding assigned sales objectives. Key account management experience on a district, regional or national level. A proven track record of being able to inspire and lead a successful sales organization (sales directors and their teams, sales managers and their teams, Operations Managers and their teams), Office Managers. Track record of partnering with Human Resources, Finance and Legal to promote and develop initiatives that build strong trade partnerships. Previous P&L influence & ownership over sales teams and operations. Working knowledge of / previous experience managing organizations to Provincial OH&S compliance, Provincial Employment Standards regulations, and other Employment Law needs. Exceptional leadership skills to provide coaching, mentoring, training and development, performance evaluations, and corrective feedback / discipline. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including being able to prepare presentation materials and present the information one-on-one and in a group. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel. Strong analytical skills and experience using internal and external data sources (i.e. Nielsen). Outstanding organizational skills as demonstrated by an ability to set and handle multiple priorities. Employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Employee frequently is required to walk and sit. Employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds as needed. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
