OverviewPhysiotherapy Assistant - Lifemark Physiotherapy Saint JohnSaint John, NBStatus: Part TimeSchedule: 20 hours per weekAnticipated Work Schedule:Monday 10:30:00 to 17:00:00Tuesday 10:30:00 to 17:00:00Wednesday 10:30:00 to 17:00:00Thursday 10:30:00 to 17:00:00Friday 10:30:00 to 17:00:00Location: 555 Somerset street, Saint John, NB, E2K 4X2ResponsibilitiesAssisting physiotherapists with client care; including the use of ultrasound equipment, exercise programs etc.Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goalsCollecting outcome measure dataMaintenance and cleaning/sterilization of medical equipmentInventory of clinical suppliesAdministrative duties, as requiredQualificationsPTA diploma or Kinesiology degree preferredPrevious experience working within a clinic setting considered an assetPersonal, friendly demeanor with excellent relationship-building skillsAbility to exercise good judgement, resourceful, strong organizational skillsAble to adapt to change with clinic operations to continuously learn and strive for improved patient careSelf-starter with an ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentResponsible for Booking and Billing for WSIB, MVA and Private Patient.InclusionWe are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds can thrive.
