We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Mortgage Associate to join our dynamic team.Position Overview:As a Mortgage Associate, you will play a key role in providing clients with mortgage advice and solutions. You will manage the process of securing the appropriate mortgage products for clients while working with various lenders and partners. This salaried position offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with mortgage lending or underwriting experience who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service.Reports To: Principal BrokerKey Responsibilities:Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, lenders, and external business partners.Adjudicate mortgage applications within established authority limits, adhering to brokerage policies, guidelines, and provincial licensing requirements.Obtain mortgage approvals while ensuring borrower suitability and compliance with all relevant regulations.Interact with lenders to negotiate mortgage approvals.Ensure completion of due diligence before sending applications to lenders.Prioritize applications and workflow to ensure consistency and meet service level expectations.Stay informed on lending guidelines, industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activity.Qualifications & Education Requirements:1+ years of previous experience in mortgage lending or underwriting.Mortgage Associate License (required for NB licensing).High School Diploma or completion of a Post-Secondary Degree, preferably in a financial or business-related field.Proficient in Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), and Adobe.Preferred Skills:Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Motivated, reliable, and punctual with a strong work ethic.Ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a business context.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.Bilingualism is an asset.Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.Employment Type:Full-Time (Salaried Position)Competitive salary between $55K-$70K plus bonus based on experience.This is a general overview of the position, and duties may be adjusted at the discretion of management in accordance with CENTUM Home Lenders policies and procedures.How to Apply:Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resumes along with a cover letter outlining their qualifications and experience.
