Role Summary: The Lot Manager is responsible for the organization, appearance, and overall management of the dealership’s vehicle inventory on the lot. This role ensures that new and pre‑owned vehicles are displayed to maximize customer appeal, supports sales operations with vehicle readiness, and supervises Lot Attendants/Porters to maintain efficiency and presentation standards. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the dealership lot, ensuring vehicles are properly parked, organized, and displayed. Maintain a clean, safe, and customer‑friendly lot environment. Supervise Lot Attendants/Porters, assigning tasks and monitoring performance. Ensure vehicles are fueled, clean, and photo‑ready for online listings and customer presentations. Coordinate vehicle movement for test drives, deliveries, and service appointments. Manage key control and ensure proper vehicle security measures are followed. Conduct regular lot audits to confirm accurate inventory and proper vehicle placement. Assist with vehicle check‑in and inspection upon arrival from manufacturers or trade‑ins. Support Sales Managers with vehicle preparation for promotions, events, and sales displays. Collaborate with Service, Sales, and Detailing teams to ensure timely vehicle readiness. Qualifications & Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Supervisory or leadership experience is an asset. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles. Strong organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining professional vehicle presentation. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
