You’ll assist physiotherapists, manage inventory, support clinic operations, and help create meaningful rehabilitation experiences for patients and their families. If you’re humble, hungry to grow, and smart in how you connect with others, this is your chance to make a real difference.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPatient Experience & CareAssist Registered Physiotherapists with patient treatments, ensuring understanding and safetyTeach patients basic exercises and monitor correct body formSupport patients on and off equipment (e.g., AlterG Treadmill)Prepare, apply, and remove hot/cold packs, ultrasounds, and electrical modalitiesPerform brace fittings for over-the-counter productsClean treatment tables, modalities, and supplies after each patientClinic Operations & ProcessMaintain laundry services and clinic tidiness according to safety standardsCharting duties for BFR and Alter-G visitsAdvise Lead/Manager of critically low inventory and suggest enhancementsUse POS systems for product salesTeamwork & CommunicationAct as a liaison between physicians, physiotherapists, and patientsFoster a positive work culture and contribute to team success through solutions-based thinkingSupport facilitators in patient enrollment and documentationData & Record ManagementEnsure accurate entry of patient information in management systemsAttach relevant documentation to patient chartsMaintain excellent record keeping and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs)Promote programs to patients and ensure post-treatment documentation is completedSeek opportunities to improve patient experience, clinic processes, and service deliveryKnowledgeCorporate purpose, mission, values, and key objectivesPrivacy legislation for healthcare and business operationsOccupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) standardsHuman anatomy & physiology, training principles, Alberta Health Care SystemsUse of EMR, CMS, inventory management, and POS systemsSkillsExcellent verbal, auditory, and written communicationStrong interpersonal skills and adaptabilityPlanning, organizing, and attention to detailAccurate keyboarding, data entry, and record keepingProficiency with Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, ExcelAbilitiesFoster a positive work culture aligned with Group23’s purpose and valuesMaintain high energy and enthusiasm; deliver quality patient interactionsWork collaboratively, resolve issues, and engage in crucial conversationsMaintain confidentiality and professionalismCompile and report data from various sourcesQualificationsCourses in Kinesiology or Physiotherapy Assistant preferredPrevious experience in a physiotherapy clinic or as a kinesiologist preferredExperience with electronic medical records and/or client management systems an assetPolice Information Check required upon hire and as requestedCPR certification and customer service/de-escalation training are assetsAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate to heavy loadsAbout UsGroup23 is a full-service sports medical clinic offering timely assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and rehabilitation of sport and exercise-related health conditions.
