Job Title Physician, Family Employer Coulee Medical Clinic Posting Date December 08, 2025 Salary $10,000 biweekly (equivalent to $20,000 per month, with a 75% commission per sale and minimum wage guaranteed) Employment Terms Permanent, full time, 30 to 44 hours per week, day shift, starts as soon as possible Location 740 4 Ave S, Lethbridge, AB T1J 0N9 Taber, AB T1G 0C8 On site only – no remote work option Work Setting Rural areas – various locations, willing to relocate. Rural community health centres, private practice, clinic. Responsibilities Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals Examine patients’ health condition to identify diseases and injuries Help patients develop healthy habits, break old habits and reshape their approach to wellness Order laboratory tests, X‑rays and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health Prescribe and administer medications and treatments Perform and assist in routine surgery Advise patients on health care Supervise staff (1 to 2 people) Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases to government authorities Be the patient advocate Co‑ordinate or manage primary patient care Provide acute care management Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues Qualifications Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a medical setting Certificates, licences, memberships and courses: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II) Security and safety: Vulnerable sector check Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast‑paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, manual dexterity Personal suitability: Accurate, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics Benefits Health benefits Dental plan Disability benefits Health care plan Paramedical services coverage Vision care benefits Financial benefits Bonus Commission Group insurance benefits Other benefits Free parking available Learning/training paid by employer Team building opportunities Who can apply for this job?
