Quality Assurance / Quality Control Inspector Full‑time As a leading industrial services provider with over 50 years of experience, CEDA delivers reliable, risk‑reducing solutions across North America. We’re now hiring a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Inspector in the Bonnyville/Cold Lake area. Direct service providers are welcome to apply. What we offer $65.00 per hour Full immediate benefits, health spending account and matching pension contributions Shift 5x2 with many overtime opportunities (weekends as required) Key duties & responsibilities Establish and maintain project quality control job files. Create and maintain indexes; submit project turnover documentation to client requirements on time. Assign and verify compliance to company welding procedures. Manage Non‑Destructive Testing subcontractor and verify NDE compliance to project requirements. Prepare hydro test packages, verify completion of pre‑/post‑hydro activities and witness hydro testing; create regulatory data sheets (AB‑83, etc.). Maintain records of non‑conformance, corrective and preventive actions; communicate information to all relevant parties and ensure timely closeout of agreed actions. Provide troubleshooting expertise for any quality related issues that arise. Qualifications At least 10 years’ experience in the design, fabrication, or examination of industrial pressure piping; or Professional engineering registration or nationally recognized equivalent with at least 5 years’ experience in industrial pressure piping design, fabrication or examination; or Certified welding inspector with at least 5 years’ experience in industrial pressure piping design, fabrication or examination; or Authorized piping inspector as defined by API 570 with at least 5 years’ experience in industrial pressure piping. CWB level 2 certification preferred (level 1 accepted with solid experience). Valid Class 5 licence with clean abstract. Ability to navigate computer programs such as Blue Beam and Microsoft suite (Word, Excel). Able to provide a negative result on a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test booked by CEDA. Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Safety focused when it comes to people and equipment. Ability to work with limited supervision in a team environment.
