As a Property Claims Representative III, you will investigate, negotiate, and resolve complex personal, commercial, and farm property liability claims. You will contribute to our client‑service culture through daily interactions and innovative, client‑centric solutions. How You Will Create Impact Investigate, interpret coverage, negotiate, and settle very large and complex property claims for Personal, Commercial and Farm Policies. Review and interpret legal documents, including statements of claims, affidavits, and expert reports, and develop actionable strategies for case resolution. Collaborate with legal counsel, experts and mediators to defend and facilitate third‑party loss settlements. Support your team through coaching and mentoring conversations. Provide exceptional client and claimant service that enables the organization to be the industry leader in client engagement. Use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions, and proactively propose solutions. To Join Our Team Five years of residential and/or commercial adjusting experience, handling liability and total loss property claims. Post‑secondary degree or diploma. Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation. Provincial adjuster license(s) for the Atlantic provinces, or willingness to obtain them. Knowledge of property policy wordings, regulations, and construction practices. What You Need To Know Occasional travel may be required. Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, during peak periods and major events. Direct contact with clients and/or service providers in their environment. Exposure to conditions that require health and safety protection such as chemicals, noise, dust, and debris. Background check as a condition of employment for the successful candidate. Salary information Expected salary range: $72,847 to $121,411. Salary is determined at discretion of Co‑operators and varies by market conditions, geography, and factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience, and education.
