5th Year Apprentice or Journeyman (313A) — Commercial HVAC Technician Burban Air Systems Ltd. is a 45+ year established, family‑owned commercial HVAC contractor serving the Greater Toronto Area. We are a highly customer‑focused service provider trusted by property managers, commercial buildings, and condominium boards for long‑term service relationships. We are currently hiring either a strong 5th Year Apprentice OR a fully licensed 313A Journeyman to join our growing team. Why Join Us? What We Offer Company take‑home service vehicle Excellent company culture with team‑first values Technical and professional development opportunities Competitive pay based on experience, licenses, and performance Life & Disability insurance Paid Vacation & Designated Holidays Overtime opportunities Strong commitment to workplace safety What You’ll Do Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues Repair or replace parts, test systems, and make necessary adjustments Use hand and power tools, meters, and material‑handling equipment Identify and report faulty operations or material concerns Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Work with vendors to source replacement parts and materials Ensure all work meets company standards and safety regulations Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used What You Bring 5th Year Apprentice or fully licensed 313A Journeyman Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with tools Experience with commercial HVAC or mechanical building systems Excellent communication skills Self‑driven team player who thrives in fast‑paced environments Valid G‑Class driver’s license with clean record Physically capable of lifting, ladder work, and extended standing Working at Heights training (or willingness to obtain) Strong time‑management skills and attention to detail Customer‑service‑oriented mindset Ability to work independently and collaboratively Required Licenses / Certifications 313A or apprenticing as a 5th Year TSSA Gas Technician Certification — G2 required, G1 an asset Valid driver’s license with clean abstract Additional Requirements Must be able to safely park a company vehicle at your residence Must have a clean driving record Job Type: Full‑time Pay Range: $110,000 – $135,000 per year.
