Overview Job Title: Junior Analyst – Global Payments (Wire Investigations) Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid – 2 days/week in office) Contract: 6 months (possibility of extension; potential conversion to FTE) About the Role We are seeking a Junior Analyst to support Global Payments operations with a focus on wire payment investigations. This role supports timely execution of operational processes and ensures activity is accurately recorded and compliant with regulatory requirements. The position involves independent case work while collaborating with internal partners and external customers as needed. Responsibilities Support wire payment investigations and related operational processes (pre/post settlement activities). Respond to standard and non-standard inquiries from internal stakeholders and external customers. Track case progress, monitor performance against SLAs, and address issues or escalate when required. Perform checks, reconciliations, and documentation review to ensure accuracy and completeness. Analyze data/information to provide insights and recommendations to improve processes. Assist with change management activities and continuous improvement initiatives (testing, implementation, sustainment). Maintain strong operational integrity and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures. Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives. Must-Have Qualifications Post-secondary education (minimum 1-year program completed). Bilingual (French/English) – fluent English is required. Strong verbal/written communication and professional stakeholder interaction skills. Strong prioritization and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines. Detail-oriented with high accuracy in processing and documentation. Collaborative mindset with ability to work mostly independently. Flexible, willing to learn, and comfortable with occasional overtime. Nice-to-Have New graduates welcome. MS Office (Excel/Outlook/Word) experience. Customer service or contact center experience. Risk, compliance, AML/KYC, or regulatory exposure.
