Land Development Engineer

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a wide range of projects from small to large (commercial, residential, industrial)
  2. Must have knowledge of provincial and local development and permitting processes
  3. Develop and enhance client relationships and earn repeat business
  4. Utilize and demonstrate business acumen
  5. Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
  6. Review and ensure quality designs are submitted to the clients
  7. Monitor progress and project status
  8. Manage budgets
  9. Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc. and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required
  10. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  1. Proven 5+ years of working experience in civil engineering, preferably in land development
  2. Excellent knowledge of municipal servicing design and stormwater management design. Project management and supervision skills
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Current Professional Engineers Ontario License is required
  5. Subdivision design experience
  6. Possess strong organizational, oral, written communication, and problem-solving skills; have an approachable enthusiastic interpersonal style
  7. Possess a valid driver's licence
