Job Summary Join Sienna Senior Living as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a casual role within Medicine Hat Care Community. In this position you will build lasting relationships with residents, providing nursing care in accordance with established policies and the scope of practice for LPNs. Reporting to the Wellness Manager, you will help ensure residents receive excellent personal care and support. Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care. Create a welcoming and supportive environment for residents through teamwork and effective communication with staff. Oversee resident care, including regular communication with residents and their families, and provide guidance to staff. Supervise the Personal Support Workers/Unregulated team members assigned to the unit. Manage admission, readmission, and changes in status, and provide ongoing assessment to the residents. Qualifications In good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta. Experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation, and/or senior health industry is an asset. Good judgement, ability to identify risk, and foster a positive work environment.
