Your Opportunity Under the general direction of the Director, Academic Human Resources, the Academic HR and Data Project Coordinator will provide support for the day‑to‑day activities of the Temerty Faculty of Medicine (TFoM) Academic HR Office. The incumbent is responsible for establishing, maintaining and improving a number of internal human resources processes and systems required in the management of academic human resources. They will also act as the point person for various HR systems, maintain/update various departmental HR documents, processes, and databases, and oversee the coordination of academic HR processes. The incumbent will assist in preparing statistical information and analyses in relation to academic human resources. The incumbent manages and supports a wide‑range of high‑level and confidential activities related to operations, planning, projects and initiatives within the Dean’s Office. The broad scope of this position is driven by the range of responsibilities, initiatives and projects undertaken by the Academic HR Office. The incumbent will provide basic advice, timely and accurate information on academic human resources related issues in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, knowing that more complex/problematic matters must be referred to the Director for resolution. Essential Qualifications University degree with post‑graduate education in HR (CHRM, working towards, CHRP, or CHRP completed, or an equivalent acceptable combination of education and experience) Minimum three (3) years’ related experience, preferably in a University setting Experience with databases and various HR systems and compiling and analyzing complex human resources information Knowledge of human resources policies, best practices, employment legislation and collective agreements Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply policy and legislation Demonstrated experience with managing complex processes and projects Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Word and PowerPoint Superior Microsoft Excel skills including the ability to use advanced functions Strong HRIS skills and numeracy skills Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, prioritization, analytical and proven administrative skills Strong communication skills (oral and written) Ability to deal with academic and administrative managers in a manner which facilitates cooperation Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative, discretion and tact Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Proven ability to keep sensitive information confidential Effective team player Assets Experience working with SuccessFactors, and creating/maintaining SharePoint sites Closing Date: 11/20/2025, 11:59 PM ET #J-18808-Ljbffr
