About the RoleWe are hiring a front-end WordPress developer. This is a remote contractor position to start, with potential for a long-term ongoing role based on fit and performance.We prefer candidates based in LATAM for timezone alignment. You’ll work directly with our small team on new builds, maintenance, and optimizations, always balancing conversion-first principles with good user experience (UX).We are looking for someone who is resourceful, self-directed, and thinks critically — not just someone who executes tasks, but someone who makes good decisions and brings ideas forward.ResponsibilitiesBuild custom WordPress themes and templates (no page builders unless necessary)Prioritize conversion best practices (clear CTAs, fast load times, mobile-first) while keeping clean, simple UXWork with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), WooCommerce, and Elementor (if required)Optimize sites for speed, responsiveness, and engagementFollow best practices for SEO, accessibility, and mobile optimizationProblem-solve issues independently before asking for helpCollaborate via Slack, Asana, and GitRequirements2+ years of WordPress front-end development experienceStrong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHPExperience with Gutenberg, ACF, or similarStrong critical thinking and independent problem-solving skillsAbility to manage deadlines without heavy supervisionGood written communication in EnglishNice to HaveFamiliarity with Shopify or other CMSKnowledge of Tailwind CSS, React basics, or Figma-to-HTML skillsOfferContractor role to start (with opportunity for long-term position)Pay in USD:Junior (0–2 years): $1,200–$1,800 USD/monthIntermediate (2–5 years): $1,800–$2,500 USD/monthFlexible working hours (with 3–4 hours of timezone overlap with PST/EST)Focused, fast-moving team environmentPaid in USD, work from anywhere in LATAM #J-18808-Ljbffr
