Description Join Verily’s Research Solutions team as a Senior Staff Product Manager to lead the strategic digitization of clinical and operational protocols that power next-generation healthcare research. In this highly influential role, you will define the vision, roadmap, and execution strategy for transforming unstructured protocol data into intelligent, machine-readable formats that drive automation, interoperability, and evidence generation. Your work will directly shape how Verily accelerates clinical trials, scales precision health solutions, and delivers impact across the healthcare ecosystem. Responsibilities Define and drive the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for protocol digitization, aligning it with Verily’s vision for research solutions, platform capabilities, and overall company priorities. Partner with senior engineering, data science, product and clinical leaders to design scalable, AI-powered solutions that automate protocol understanding, standardization, and data integration. Translate complex sponsor and operational needs into high-impact product capabilities, influencing both internal platform architecture and external partnerships. Lead cross-functional execution across multiple product areas, balancing near-term delivery with long-term innovation and platform scalability. Establish and track success metrics to measure adoption, data quality, and business impact—informing continuous improvement and strategic investment decisions. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related technical field. 12+ years of product management experience, including leadership of complex, data-centric or enterprise platform products. Deep domain knowledge in clinical research, trial design, or healthcare operations. Experience leading AI/ML-based product initiatives in healthcare or life sciences, and demonstrated familiarity with LLMs or other NLP technologies. Proven success defining APIs, data models, and architectures for large-scale, interoperable systems. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree, MBA, or equivalent advanced degree. Expertise with healthcare data standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7, CDISC) and their application to digital protocol management. Exceptional strategic communication and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated influence across technical and executive teams. Track record of driving platform adoption, product innovation, and measurable business outcomes in a complex, cross-functional environment. This role is eligible for Verily-sponsored immigration support. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $194,000 - $258,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
