We are seeking a school leader who shares our vision for Christian Education and has the capacity to provide staff the support necessary to live out the mission of Richmond Christian School.  The Secondary Vice-Principal will also assume teaching responsibilities as part of their FTE.Primary Function:
  1. To serve as the assistant to the Secondary Campus Principal with administrative responsibilities for the planning, organization, control and leadership of the Secondary Campus and administrative processes within the school. 
  2. To serve on the Education Team and assist in providing educational leadership at the Secondary campus in the design and implementation of the educational program. 
Position Summary:The Secondary Campus Vice Principal will work with the principal to provide instructional leadership through: 
  • Developing a positive, Secondary school culture. 
  • Coordination of a Secondary campus program. 
  • Providing professional development resources and opportunities for teachers 
  • Assistance in administrative processes 
The Secondary Campus Vice Principal will work with the Director of Learning (DoL) and Principal to provide instructional leadership, to provide support and feedback to colleagues and may teach classes that model “quality Christ-centered education.” Applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible as suitable candidates will be contacted shortly after receipt of documents.   • Current professional certification from the Teachers’ Regulation Branch 
  • A Master’s in Educational Leadership or Curriculum (or accepted equivalent) – preferably completed, at minimum in progress 
  • Evidence of course work or experience that equips the applicant to teach ‘Christianly’ and implement a Christian educational program 
  • Evidence of a personal commitment to ongoing lifelong professional development
