Please note that our laboratory is accredited by the Ministry. In order to be eligible to be a signer, you need a minimum of 2 years of experience in an environmental laboratory, specifically in microbiology. Your main responsibilities are: Perform complex sample preparation and analysis; Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and quality of work; Ensure that quality control criteria are met for all reported data; Approve data generated (validation level 1) for which analysts have been trained and validated; If required, validate Level II data; Generate reports with results and fax them to the clients; Understand and diagnose analyses; Contribute to corrective action procedures; Ensure deadlines are met; Recommend SOP revisions; Ensure equipment is properly maintained; Use summaries to plan and organize work; Follow all laboratory safety rules and regulations; Contribute to daily and weekly planning; Provide support for performance supervision; Coordinate laboratory projects; Validate and implement new methods; Write SOPs; Follow up on contamination and interference in the laboratory; Question results; Other related tasks. You are an ideal candidate if you: Have a BAC in microbiology or equivalency; Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an environmental laboratory, specifically in microbiology (mandatory requirement to be a signer); Strong knowledge in microbiology; Are able to work independently or as part of a team; Are attentive to detail.
