Regional Asset Protection Manager

POSITION SUMMARY The Regional Manager, Asset Protection is a strategic business partner directly responsible for protecting the assets of the Company by leading all Asset Protection efforts within the region focusing on Team Development, Business Partnerships, Brand Protection, Firearm Safety, Profit Enhancement, and Theft/Fraud elimination. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Attract, develop, coach, lead, and retain a group of direct and indirect reports that drive the AP initiatives supporting the company’s direction. Set strategies for the region to ensure the safety and security of people and property, focusing on Business Partnerships, Brand Protection, Firearm Safety, Profit Enhancement, and Theft/Fraud elimination. Drive inventory shrink reduction to minimize or eliminate bottom-line loss in retail. Improve AP execution in the region through data analytics, partnership support, tactical planning, and leadership. Drive Asset Protection awareness and accountability to promote collaboration and assistance to protect employees, guests, and bottom line. Communicate consistently with key stakeholders to identify issues, resolve problems, inspire execution, and coach appropriately. Develop partnerships with Senior Store Management, Regional counterparts, and Corporate leadership. All other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS Preferred Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Criminal Justice from an accredited institution. Certifications or Licenses: National certified training program (Wicklander‑Zuwalski or Reed training). Experience: 6–8 years. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY Demonstrated experience conducting and closing retail investigations in person and remotely. Experience using physical security systems (CCTV, EAS, etc.). Ability to lead, train, motivate, and provide guidance to remote teams. Experience conducting quality reviews/audits. Capable of cultivating and developing strong relationships. Ability to travel and lead store visits. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Approximately 50%. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Regular computer work and sitting. Occasional walking, standing, and lifting. INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT Develops strategic direction, goals, plans, and policies for an area of responsibility. Sets broad objectives and is accountable for overall results. Holds authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, requiring a high degree of independent judgment and problem solving of complex problems.
