Jack & Slide Rigger

NCSG Hauling & Rigging has a great opportunity for an entry-level individual looking for experience in Jack and Slide to support our Calgary office. The Jack and Slide Rigger is an integral member of the team responsible for assisting the loading, offloading, and setting of various over-dimensional loads including modules and transformers. The Jack and Slide Rigger is responsible for following all company and client policies, practices, and procedures and representing the company in a professional manner.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

1. Complete pre-job system evaluations and FLRA’s daily to ensure all hazards are identified and mitigated.
2. Assume responsibility for loading, offloading, setting/centering load, and block placing to ensure safe and accurate placement.
3. Light troubleshooting when required.
4. Ensure work activities are performed in a safe, productive, and efficient manner.
5. Ensure all required paperwork including but not limited to; time sheets including job numbers, FLRA’s, maintenance requests are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
6. Other duties assigned as required.

Qualifications:

1. 1 year of experience in a similar role in the Oil and Gas field.
2. Previous Jack & Slide experience an asset.
3. Class 1 Drivers License an asset.
4. Must have Class 5 and own transportation.
5. Safety Certifications including CSTS 2020, H2S, and First Aid.
6. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
7. Strong analytical skills and sound judgment to make decisions based on information.
8. Results-oriented and achievement motivated.
9. Operates with high integrity; builds trust, quickly wins, and sustains credibility in relationships with others.
10. Successful passing of Pre-employment A&D test is required.
11. Safety oriented.
