About PAL Airlines 27 destinations in Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, and Ontario Charter destinations all over Canada and Eastern North America Fleet of Dash 8-100, Dash 8-300, Dash 8-Q400 Three (3) crew base locations: St. John’s, Halifax, and Montreal Great Benefits Competitive pay Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Defined Contribution Pension Plan Employee Stock Purchase Plan Personal travel privileges with PAL and interline agreements with multiple airlines Industry discounts (hotels, rental cars, etc.) Our pilots also receive Per diems for your days worked 12 guaranteed days off a month 78 credit minimum monthly guarantee with overtime over 90 credits 2-5 weeks of vacation annually based on seniority An additional 11 Holiday Block vacation days per year Annual shoe allowance Headset allowance Jump seat agreements Relocation expenses may be provided as per the CBA Qualifications Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilots License Valid Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating Valid Transport Canada Multi Engine rating Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical Must have one of the following: valid ATPL; SAMRA & SARON; or IATRA written and passed in the past two years Must be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) Must hold a current passport at time of hire Must be able to travel without restrictions to the United States Must be able to obtain and maintain a C-1/D transit/crewmember visa Must be legally entitled to work in Canada Must have completed a high school diploma Must meet Transport Canada English proficiency standard (level 4) Hiring minimums for Direct Entry Captain is an ATPL Preference Applicants who possess a Canadian ATPL Applicants with two crew multi-engine turbine experience Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
