If you\'re passionate about building innovative data movement products and enjoy hands-on solutioning, this is your chance to make a massive impactResponsibilitiesBe the Staff PM responsible for leading the vision, roadmap, and requirements for the safe and seamless data movement capabilitiesDrive strategic narratives and operational and tactical recommendations with customers and industry thought leaders on Application Modernization and Data MigrationRegularly evangelize our products and recommendations on application modernization at industry conferences, trade shows, and with key partners and accountsDrive collaboration across Engineering, Customer Support, Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, and the Executive Leadership TeamMaintain an accurate and up-to-date roadmap across your ownership areasDeeply understand all aspects of MongoDB - to ensure a business outcome aligned with our broader product, customer, and company prioritiesDefine application modernization go-to-market strategies, identify key market/competitive trends and customer opportunities, and plan and manage programs to execute against those strategies by partnering with sales leadership at regional and global levelsDrive decision-making around prioritization, solutions, functionality, and pricingRequirements10+ years of Product experience working with enterprise-focused application development technologies and customersExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to large executive audiences and key enterprise customers globallyDemonstrated leadership skills to bring together diverse viewpoints and drive a strategic agenda forward; can-do attitude, optimism, humility, creative solutioning, asking complex questions, and willingness to embrace the unknown are all required to succeedExpert-level understanding of enterprise-scale software architectures, application development methodologies, and software deployment and operations.Deep experience managing or using relational databases, particularly SQL and stored procedures with Oracle, MS SQL Server, Sybase, and PostgreSQL databases, in addition to MongoDBExperience working with distributed streaming platforms, such as Apache Kafka, or change data capture platforms, like Debezium, is a significant plusStrong technical acumen—our Product Managers must be as technical as their engineering counterparts and have in-depth knowledgeThey must also be comfortable speaking with authority on any of the technical aspects of the topics in their portfolioTo drive the personal growth and business impact of our employees, we’re committed to developing a supportive and enriching culture for everyone. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package.
