Intermediate CAD Technician

Job Opportunity WSP’s Canmore office seeks a CAD Technician for the Land Development and Municipal Engineering team. A phenomenal collaborative culture filled with genuinely good people. What you can expect to do here Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge in projects from concept to completion. Prepare engineering drawings to specified standards. Assist in the design of infrastructure including grading, underground utilities, roads, trails, etc. Project Management / Coordination and on‑site construction inspections (subject to candidate interest and experience). Other duties as assigned/required. What you’ll bring to WSP Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting. Minimum 5 + years of experience in relevant AutoCAD drafting and design (all levels encouraged). Experience on land‑development private sector and/or public municipal infrastructure projects is an asset. Mandatory knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Registration in good standing with ASET, or eligibility to be registered. Highly motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic team player. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; flexible attitude. Capable of working independently and as part of a team. Additional assets (not required) Project Management / Coordination experience. Experience working in the field.
