Our goal is the attract, grow and retain a loyal customer base by offering high-quality cannabis products, in convenient locations at everyday low prices.Role And Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited ToCustomer OfferingDeliver exemplary customer serviceGreet customers when they enter the store and take customer to product when requiredGenerate sales by educating, advising and suggesting products to every customerMaintain a high level of service and product knowledgeResolve customer complaints regarding sales and service in absence of management; ensure management is informed of all customer complaintsAccountable for product rollouts and product launches in partnership with managementUnderstand and utilize local market tends in partnership with managementEvaluate programs and promotions for effectiveness and offer recommendations to managementAssist customer from store and/or offer car service when appropriateCreate a culture that has a passion for CannabisDay to Day OperationsMeet or exceed department financial targets through partnership with managementEnsure location follows merchandising and pricing guidelinesAssist in all operational duties in partnership with managementEnsure store is presentable and relay any maintenance issues to managementManage communication (mail, email, voicemail) in absence of managementManage ordering and receiving in partnership with managementActively aim to increase and share product knowledgeMaintain inventory levels in partnership with managementAttend OHS, LP meetings and training sessions as requiredStock shelves and cooler with productSet daily tasks for the store in absence of managementReview flyers, upcoming event and promotions; execute appropriatelyParticipate in routine store maintenance and cleaningStay up to with industry legislation, trends and new products Other tasks as assignedRegulatory AdherenceEnsure that OHS, LP, SellSafe, Qualified Cannabis Worker (QCW) and other regulatory requirements and procedures are implemented and adhered toMaintain First-Aid, LP and OHS TrainingMaintain SellSafe and Qualified Cannabis Worker (QCW) CertificationEnsure AGLC/BC LRS/AK ABC Board and other government guidelines are metAdheres to all Nova policies, with a focus on Social ResponsibilityExperience And QualificationsMinimum, 1-year supervisor experience (preferred)Minimum, 2-years of customer service experienceMinimum, 2-years of retail and/or hospitality experienceCannabis, liquor or healthcare experience is preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid SellSafe & QCW (Qualified Cannabis Worker) certificationFirst-Aid Certificate is considered an assetMust complete and pass a Criminal Record CheckWorking knowledge of regulations as it pertains to selling cannabis in AlbertaPersonal Characteristics And RequirementsExcellent customer service skills; you have a positive attitude, are charismatic, and are very comfortable engaging with customersAbility to think on your feet and creatively problem solveOpen-minded and constantly identifying ways to improvePassionate about creating a positive, memorable, and tailored experience for every customerExcellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a professional demeanorTeam player who is passionate about supporting the overall success of the businessUphold ethics, confidentiality, and demonstrate a high level of discretion at all timesResponsible and reliableMust be 18 years of age or olderMust have reliable transportation to commute to/from workTo ApplyIf you are excited about this opportunity and meet the criteria listed above, we want to hear from you Please send your resume to ria.patel@sndl.com for consideration.We are an equal opportunity employer committed to workforce diversity.
