Senior Manager, Projects and Risk Northumberland Ferries Limited – Halifax, NS Selects a Senior Manager to lead project management, quality, risk, and environmental compliance across the organization. The role involves senior leadership for engineering policies, maintenance programs, and capital projects, supervising engineering managers and aligning with regulatory and operational requirements. Location: Halifax, NSReports to: VP, EngineeringSalary: $100,000 – $110,000 Key Responsibilities Lead engineering, environmental, project, and quality policy development Oversee project and quality management across the organization Manage engineering budgets and capital project programs (E1s, E2s, Charter Offsets) Develop long-range and condition-based maintenance programs Oversee risk management, environmental compliance, and warranty programs Manage engineering documentation, SharePoint, and CMMS Standardize major project contracts and terms Lead and manage engineering managers and direct reports Qualifications Engineering degree or equivalent marine engineering/project management experience 5+ years of project management experience Maritime industry experience is a strong asset Project management certification, ISO, or TC certification (assets) Strong leadership, organization, and independent working skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Working Conditions Office-based with frequent travel to vessels and terminals Travel throughout the Maritimes; occasional shipyard visits outside NS Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and overnight travel Must be able to access all areas of vessels and terminals Deadline for applications: Friday, January 23rd, 2026, 11:59am Referrals increase your chances of interviewing by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
