In this role, you’ll play a key part in helping small and medium-sized businesses succeed—while shaping the future of AI for local economies.Your Impact:Contribute to building features using modern programming languages and frameworks such as Go and Angular.Participate in software design discussions focused on simplicity, maintainability, and performance.Apply AI tools and APIs to support tasks like code generation, data handling, and workflow automation.Help implement AI-powered features including intelligent recommendations, summarization, and natural language prompts under mentorship.Participate in agile rituals such as stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to drive high‑quality software delivery.Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, while contributing to automated test coverage and peer code reviews.Support production excellence through debugging, on‑call rotations, and monitoring improvements.Continuously grow your skills in software development and responsible AI usage through learning and collaboration.What You Bring to the Table:You bring 3–5 years of experience in software development, ideally within a SaaS or tech environment.You have a solid grasp of front‑end and back‑end development and are proficient in programming languages such as Go (preferred) or Java, and Angular (preferred) or React.You’re comfortable working with databases like PostgreSQL, using version control tools like Git, and integrating with REST APIs.You communicate effectively in collaborative team environments and have a growth mindset.You take accountability for your learning and are committed to delivering high‑quality results.While a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, equivalent practical experience such as internships, co‑ops, or project‑based development is also valued.About Vendasta:We help businesses get more customers.
