Report to the Meat Department Head (or delegated supervisor). The Meat Cutter trims, cuts, chops, and prepares various meat products for customers and stock displays. The role ensures FIFO stocking, maintains inventory and workplace cleanliness, and delivers excellent customer service. T&T Supermarket Inc., founded in 1993, operates 31 stores nationwide and is expanding rapidly. The Meat Cutter position supports this growth through high‑quality product preparation. Trim, cut, and chop meat using cutting equipment and tools. Store prepared products promptly following FIFO to preserve shelf life. Maintain accurate inventory and display of all meat products. Prepare items for sales activities: cut, debone, slice, pack, label, and display in coolers. Keep workplace and tools clean and well‑kept. Assist customers in product selection and provide recommendations with a friendly, enthusiastic attitude. Offer meat‑cutting guidance and knowledge to other staff. Stay updated on meat department promotion activities. Perform additional duties as assigned. Work flexible shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays. Operate meat cutters and other tools safely. Stand for extended periods, handle hands‑on tasks, and lift up to 40 pounds regularly. Work in low temperatures (0‑4 °C), freezing temperatures (-18 °C), and wet environments for prolonged periods. Handle meat products without trace allergies. Communicate fluently in English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin). Follow basic food‑safety procedures. Preferred experience in handling meat products. Pass internal meat‑cutting tests, including skill assessments and written evaluations.
