Your responsibilities will include learning and documenting existing technologies, identifying and addressing design issues, and developing innovative solutions. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects and make a significant impact in the world.In this role, you will be an integral part of our Engineering Team, collaborating closely with other engineers as well as our manufacturing and production team. Your primary focus will be on designing, producing, and maintaining innovative products that facilitate on-site chemical recycling.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: DesignDesign and develop mechanical systems, components, and products from concept to productionConduct research to determine the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanical systemsCreate detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and calculationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and industrial designers, to integrate mechanical designs into overall product architecturePerform engineering calculations and simulations to validate designs and ensure they meet performance requirements and safety standardsIdentify and resolve design issues through root cause analysis and corrective actionsPrototype and test mechanical systems and components to validate designs and performanceREQUIREMENTS:BSc, BEng, or MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on design, analysis, and productionEligible to obtain a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in OntarioStrong understanding of mechanical engineering among team membersMinimum 5 years’ experience with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software such as Inventor or SolidWorks to create detailed mechanical designsMust be legally eligible to work in CanadaMust have a valid drivers license, passport and be willing/capable to travel to the US and overseasWe are an equal-opportunity employer, and we are an organization that values diversity.
