Optical Coherent System EngineerJoin Nokia’s Optical Systems Group (OSG) as a Coherent Optical Systems Engineer. The role focuses on designing, characterizing, and developing leading coherent optical transceivers based on next‑generation photonic integrated circuits (PIC) and digital signal processors (DSP) from Infinera.Job DescriptionAs an OSG engineer, you will work with early prototype PIC, DSP, and analog ASIC hardware; perform digital‑optical integration; develop robust calibration and controls methodologies; and carry out performance characterization (transceiver SNR, OSNR tolerance, sensitivity studies, etc.). Frequent interactions with DSP, PIC, analog ASIC, and systems engineering teams are expected.
