As a Senior Manager, Tax Learning, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning strategy for our Tax practice nationally. This position focuses on designing, delivering, and continuously improving learning programs that enhance technical excellence, leadership capabilities, and future-readiness for our tax professionals. You will collaborate closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, and the Learning & Development team to ensure our programs align with firm priorities and regulatory requirements while fostering an engaging and impactful learning experience. What You Will Do Collaborate with internal stakeholder groups to identify learning needs and develop tailored learning plans and programs that support these needs. Plan, design, and deploy tax technical training programs that are engaging, impactful, and aligned with learning objectives. Continuously assess and analyze existing learning products to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the TaxPractice. Support local learning leaders in building local learning calendars and deploying national tax training programs, ensuring adherence to national guidelines and requirements. Optimize external learning investments by identifying opportunities to complement and enhance internal training programs. Lead learning strategy and innovation, introducing new technologies and methodologies to improve learning effectiveness. Engage stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure programs drive measurable impact and align with business priorities. Monitor program effectiveness using data and feedback, making recommendations for continuous improvement. What You Bring To The Role A CPA, LLB (tax) and successful completion of CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program, or MTax 8+ years working in Canadian Income Tax Client Services, ideally within a professional services firm Comprehensive understanding and experience with Canadian income tax legislation and practice. Proven ability to lead projects, influence stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Passion for leveraging technology and creative approaches to deliver impactful learning experiences. Teaching and/or facilitation experience (e.g., Facilitating at the In-Depth Tax Program) would be an asset. This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues. KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information The expected base salary range for this position is $104,000 to $156,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications.
