Physics Resident – Radiation Oncology Physics Residency Company: The Ottawa Hospital About The Ottawa Hospital The Ottawa Hospital (TOH) is one of Canada’s largest learning and research multi‑campus hospitals, with more than 1,400 beds and approximately 17,000 staff, physicians, residents and volunteers. It delivers specialized care across Eastern Ontario, Western Quebec and Eastern Nunavut and partners closely with the University of Ottawa to advance teaching, research and patient care. Position Overview This position is to establish competence in the theory and practice of radiation oncology physics. The residency is temporary and will conclude approximately on September 9, 2028. Rotation / Shifts Days, 8‑hour shifts (hospital reserves the right to change). Basic Requirements Postgraduate degree from a CAMPEP accredited medical physics program; Demonstrated positive work and attendance record; Eligible to work in Canada. Preferred Qualifications Ph.D. in Medical Physics; Established research record; Proficiency in English and French – oral expression (advanced) and comprehension (advanced).
