We support the growth and development of our people and offer meaningful, challenging work with competitive compensation.We offer opportunities such as in-house and external training related to current positions or advancement; wellness programs; recognition programs; transit incentives; an active Social Club; and involvement in community and charitable events.Position SummaryThe DAS Program Coordinator is responsible for project administration and coordination to support the development and management of capital planning, capital improvement, asset management, project support services and investment programs across the Province. Responsibilities include planning timelines, communication plans, implementation plans, reviewing budget/scope/resource requirements, monitoring progress against timelines, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to obtain information and documents needed to complete projects.CANDIDATE PROFILEThe successful candidate will have the following:Education & ExperienceDiploma in business administration, project management or other relevant discipline, including courses in project coordination.Considerable progressive experience in project or program coordination.Some experience in an administrative or coordination capacity related to finance, housing, construction, or real estate industry.Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience acceptable to the employer.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesSound knowledge of project management processes and business administration principles.Knowledge of database management, asset planning applications, and business tools to support project management functions.Some knowledge of building construction and repair requirements.Working knowledge of legal agreements and legal instruments.Ability to learn internal business enterprise applications.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.Ability to plan and manage small projects or portions of larger projects; lead projects to successful conclusion.Ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities without compromising quality.Ability to provide presentations to larger groups.Tact, diplomacy, and good judgement when dealing with diverse audiences.Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, conceptual thinking, planning, organization and project leadership skills.Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Project and Visio).Indigenous candidates are welcome to connect with an Indigenous team member to discuss the recruitment process and workplace: hr_admin@bchousing.org.How to ApplyPlease review the attached job description for a complete list of duties, qualifications and competencies.
