The role manages operating expenditures to stay within budget, builds high performing operations teams, mentors and trains staff, and assures that all company and site-specific processes and procedures are followed. Budget cost for re‑refinery process chemicals, capital projects, supplies, utilities, etc. Manages the selection of hydro treating catalyst. Participates in shutdown planning activities, process troubleshooting, monitoring and analysis of process data. Key player in lines of communication between management and the operations group staff. Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, evaluation and discipline of staff. Ensures process operation within safe operating limits, compliance with all regulatory, permit and corporate EH&S requirements and ISO quality standards. Oversee and participate in ongoing preparation, revision and approval of standard operating procedures (SOP's) for refinery. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering/mechanical engineering is required. 5-7 years of relevant experience. Valid Driver’s License required.
