The company, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a part-time AWS Cloud Security Architect with deep expertise in securing large-scale cloud environments. The successful candidate will design, validate, and guide implementation of AWS cloud security architectures, ensuring best practices, compliance, and robust protection against evolving threats. Responsibilities Define and validate security architectures for AWS-based systems. Provide guidance on securing cloud infrastructure, workloads, and applications. Integrate identity and access management, encryption, and monitoring solutions. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure compliance with best practices. Lead cloud security assessments and implement remediation strategies. Provide executive-level recommendations on cloud risk and security posture. Mentor internal teams on AWS security architecture and practices. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline. 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years focused on cloud security (AWS). Strong expertise with AWS native security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, etc.). Hands-on experience in cloud security assessments, DevSecOps, and automation. Familiarity with compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS. AWS Certified Security – Specialty or AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification strongly preferred. Ability to advise executives while engaging hands-on with technical teams. Must be fluent in French (both written and spoken) and have demonstrated experience working in French-speaking professional environments.
