Build React and TypeScript interfaces for AI agents in a virtual-first model, supporting business-critical workflows and human review. As a Full-Stack Engineer on Thumbtack’s AI platform, you will create product surfaces and services teams rely on. You will work across React, TypeScript, backend code, data models, and observability tooling. The work includes configuring agents, reviewing outcomes, correcting actions, and understanding behavior. Key Responsibilities:

Design interfaces for configuring, reviewing, and correcting agent actions Build observability and evaluation tooling for agent behavior Own features across build, testing, launch, and iteration Partner with business teams on ambiguous operational problems Monitor work and improve products after launch Requirements:

Strong React and TypeScript frontend engineering skills Three or more years of professional software engineering experience Solid backend ability with willingness to learn languages Experience with Go, PHP, or Python is relevant Knowledge of relational and non-relational data stores Apply full-stack engineering, product judgment, and observability skills to build dependable AI agent workflows at Thumbtack.
