Associate Professor/Professor – CAMH Chair in Mental Health Nursing Research The Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto invites applications for a full‑time tenure stream position at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026. The successful candidate may be named to the CAMH Chair in Mental Health Nursing Research for a five‑year renewable term. Key Responsibilities Develop and conduct world‑class research in mental health nursing with a focus on patient‑centered care pathways, transitions, and outcomes. Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise students, and maintain an active teaching portfolio. Secure and manage external research funding, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in research, teaching, and the broader campus community. Qualifications Entry‑to‑practice nursing degree (BScN or MN) and a PhD in nursing or related discipline. Eligible for registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching, including internationally peer‑reviewed publications and competitive funding. Experience in mental health nursing research, particularly in care transitions, patient‑reported outcomes, and digital/remote interventions. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion with evidence of mentoring diverse students. Resources & Support The Chair is supported by a $2 million endowment that funds research, education, and clinical integration in mental health nursing.
