This technician will process bacterial cultures, mammalian cell cultures, and perform molecular, serological, histopathology and in-situ hybridization assays for the Intracellular Pathogens Research Laboratory (IPRL). Computer skills are required for data entry, result reporting, data summaries, and responding. Job is not time limited. Department Required Skills Previous experience in a molecular/histopathology/research laboratory setting. Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education Four year degree in Biology or equivalent related experience. Benchtop laboratory skills, i.e. pipetting, culturing bacteria, microscope competence. Prior experience or interest in human and veterinary medicine research are highly desirable.
