Join the Adams Lake Indian Band as a casual on-call Heavy Equipment Operator specializing in civil construction projects. Operate heavy machinery like backhoes and excavators while ensuring safety and team collaboration. As part of the Adams Lake Band’s Infrastructure team, you will play a vital role in executing civil and commercial projects. This position requires a minimum of 10 years’ experience with equipment such as dozers and backhoes, and you must hold Telehandler Level 1 certification. You will be responsible for performing circle checks and maintaining equipment, along with critical thinking in problem-solving scenarios.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate backhoes, excavators, and other heavy equipment
• Collaborate effectively with team members
• Perform equipment maintenance and circle checks
• Solve problems with limited supervision
• Ensure safe working practices for the community

Requirements:
• 10 years’ experience operating excavators and dozers
• Telehandler Level 1 certification required
• Proven experience with backhoes
• Knowledge of civil installation practices
