Position: Security Team Lead Site: Seneca Polytechnic - York Campus Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours Status: Full‑Time Hours: Continental Rotation 12 Hours - 06:30‑18:30/18:30‑06:30 Pay Rate: $22.00‑23.50 per hour Internal Posting Date: November 26, 2025 Internal Closing Date: December 3, 2025 External Closing Date: December 10, 2025 Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate Security Guard activities in academic buildings, residence, and event spaces Cross‑campus learning and collaboration with York U partners Assign and monitor patrols, access control, and incident response Foster cross‑functional teamwork with York Security and campus partners Lead incident investigations and ensure timely, accurate reporting Provide frontline support during special events, guest speakers, and high‑profile campus activities Mentor new staff and deliver in‑service training Ensure adherence to Seneca and York U security policies Support a welcoming and inclusive team culture Your Impact As Team Lead at Seneca@York, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment in a campus that thrives on diversity and collaboration.
