To provide architecture and 2nd and 3rd level escalation for data center and office server issues. QualificationsEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintenance of virtualized servers, VMware Horizons VDI environment, storage, Tegile, Microsoft Exchange, SQL, and other application servers. Maintain hardware and software patch levels. Monitor and manage systems used in support of data center operations.

Example: Backup Systems and SolarWinds. Solid working knowledge of VMware Horizons VDISolid working knowledge of SAN technology including Tegile, EqualLogic, iSCSISolid working knowledge of SQL Server (multiple versions)Solid working knowledge of Active DirectorySolid working knowledge of VMware virtualization technologySolid working knowledge of server hardware and software platforms. Solid working knowledge of Exchange 2013 and higherWorking understanding of LAN/ WAN technologiesExcellent written and oral communication skillsDemonstrated documentation skills with VisioExceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skillsAble to apply analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExceptional customer service orientationExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentDesirable Skills:Experience with Enterprise level backup tools (Veeam, CommVault)Experience with cloud-based storage and compute (AWS or Azure)VoIP support (Cisco Unified Contact Center Express)Industry certifications are preferred (MCSE, CCNA, VCP, CISSP, etc.). Communication SkillsAbility to write reports, business correspondence, documentation, Visio diagrams, and procedure manuals.
