OverviewAbout this opportunity :The Senior Structural Integrity Engineer is accountable for the White Rose Field Integrity Management System as it relates to Structure, Stability and Mechanical Handling. This system mitigates the occurrence of a major accident event by ensuring Safety Critical Elements remain Fit for Purpose by meeting defined performance goals. These activities directly relate to the Cenovus Operations Integrity Management System (COIMS) element 13.What you’ll doAccountable for the integrity and maintenance of SeaRose FPSO System 01 – Hull Structure, Fittings, and Penetrations, including anomaly management, inspection planning, troubleshooting, and repair coordination.Responsible for SeaRose System 58 and WWR System 58W – Mechanical Handling Systems, covering management of loose and fixed lifting inventory, inspection and maintenance planning, troubleshooting, repair oversight, and lifting plan approvals.Manage Weight Control for the SeaRose FPSO, ensuring alignment with the vessel’s weight control procedures.Oversee vendor relationships supporting both Hull Structure and Mechanical Handling Systems.Collaborate with the Implementation Engineer to ensure timely planning and execution of maintenance activities for assigned systems, maintaining fitness for purpose of both the SeaRose FPSO and WWR Platform.Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance across all responsible systems.Utilize SAP for maintenance and asset management tasks.Travel to local CVE facilities as required and maintain all necessary training and certifications.Work closely with the operations team to monitor and manage weight changes on the SeaRose FPSO.Who you areOur ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications :Legally authorized to work in CanadaBachelor of Engineering Degree, P. Eng, (preferred subject areas include Naval Architecture, Civil and Mechanical)Minimum 8 years' experience in a progressively responsible engineering role within the oil and gas industrySkills in Business Management Software (SAP)In-depth knowledge of the Oil & Gas Industry, with working knowledge of offshore installations (FPSO, Subsea & Drilling)Experience in Major Accident Hazard management through performance-based maintenance and production uptime through reliability centered maintenance.In-depth knowledge of Regulatory & Certifying Authority regulations, codes & standards and expertise in Risk Basked Inspection Management.A member in good standing or eligible for registration with Professional Engineers and Geoscientist Newfoundland & Laboratory (PEGNL)We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.You must be able to travel via helicopter and boat.
