Rotates stock and checks for expired products. Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced. Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration dates. Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; slices and prepares merchandise such as meat, cheese, fried chicken; and provides requested assistance. Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing, and labels. Prepares deli food orders, meat, cheese, and utilizes slicers, stackers, and other utensils; prepares chicken using rotisserie oven and deep fryer; and fills prepared salads and side dishes for placement in the display area and fulfills specialty orders from customers as required. Follows Health and Safety guidelines. Pay The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $15.80. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
