If you’re ready to take the next step in your career, CEDA has opportunities for you Job Description CEDA is currently seeking Class 1 Operators for our Pressure and Vac division at our Conklin AB location. The work changes daily. Key Duties and Responsibilities Operate and maintain combo, semi-vac, super B, tri-quad, pressure truck equipment and various specialty tools Complete minor maintenance and checks on equipment Ensure safety for all team members and property Provide quality services to our clients Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment Leave the job site in better condition that when we got there. Clean, safe and job done. Haul hoses, PPE and tools to where the work is being done Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs Other duties as assigned Qualifications Class 1 licence Driving is in your nature, a manual transmission is a breeze (10, 13 or 18 speed, doesn’t matter you will pass CEDA’s driver assessment with flying colours) Will Consider class 3 with experience on Pressure & Vacuum equipment 1+ years’ experience in an industrial environment on pressure and vacuum equipment is preferred CSO and H2S Alive certifications arerequired at time of offer Able to provide a drivers abstract with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3years This role may require working at heights and within confined spaces Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test, booked by CEDA Skills Strong mechanical aptitude You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis) You have the ability to work well in a team, share a laugh with your coworkers and get the job done safely EAST1 Additional Information The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
