🚀 Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Area Manager is responsible for providing strategic direction, support, and leadership to the assigned operations area. The role involves managing the development and direction of branch teams to drive revenue growth, control costs, promote quality and safety, and ensure customer satisfaction.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement business strategies to enhance branch performance.
- Monitor area performance against goals, implementing corrective actions when needed.
- Align strategic plans with operational execution to ensure business objectives are met.
Operational Management:
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels and support recruitment, hiring, and performance management.
- Manage budgeting, including preparation and monitoring of the area's P&L.
- Analyze key performance indicators and industry trends to enhance financial performance.
- Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and streamline processes.
Team Development:
- Coach and mentor team members to achieve performance goals and maintain high morale.
- Promote a positive work environment by demonstrating a strong business ethic with employees, suppliers, and customers.
- Provide training and resources to ensure the team is equipped to perform their roles safely and effectively.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Enhance the customer experience through direct interaction and feedback collection.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, promoting a service-oriented culture.
Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality programs and regulatory requirements.
- Implement policies, procedures, and controls to minimize operational risks.
- Maintain adherence to the company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethical Behaviour.
📋 Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in a management or senior supervisory role.
- Education: Journeyman Electrician and/or Instrument Technician preferred. Post-secondary education in business is an asset.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills.
- Advanced industry knowledge and operational expertise.
- Proficient in budgeting, project management, and human resources.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret financial documents.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
