Senior Finance Data and Reporting Analyst

Reporting to the Director, Finance Process and Systems, the Senior Finance Data and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining data models, dashboards and reports for the Finance team and be the liaison on the Data Governance team to ensure timely and accurate data. They will also provide training and support to Finance report writers and ensure they adhere to standards. Qualifications Post-Secondary Education in Accounting is required. CPA would be an asset. 3-5 years In Power BI is required; Power BI certification would be an asset. JDE E1 system and table knowledge. SQL language experience is an asset. Experience with Planning Analytics (TM1) and/or Reports Now. Excellent organizational skills and high attention to details. Problem solver and results driven. Continuous improvement mindset and can easily adapt to change. Great communication skills and leadership mindset. Responsibilities Creating and maintaining reports and data models in various tools (Cognos, Power BI, Reports Now, Planning Analytics (TM1)). Working with the Data Lead, ensure all data required for Finance reports and analytics are created timely and adhere to Cavendish standards established by the Governance Council. Owning the finance data and leading the reporting process. Supporting Finance Process Leads in their mandate to optimize process and systems. Publisher of Finance reports to Production, to ensure adherence to standards (Report Steward). Providing support and training to other report writers in Finance.
