We recognize and value each employee's contributions to our success, which is why we offer competitive compensation including an annual bonus program, 100% company paid health benefits including a professional attire benefit, employer-matched pension plan, paid continuing education (including immersion courses), and career advancement opportunities within our brokerage.**At Brio Insurance, our culture code is:*** Do good* Be better* Own it* Move forward* Create funThe Auto Insurance Specialist I is primarily responsible for processing basic insurance transactions and auto policies.**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities*** This position processes basic insurance transaction and auto policies.* Processes auto and basic insurance transactions under the supervision of a more senior licensed broker.* Identifies client needs and provides information on basic insurance products such as risk coverage, benefits and other policy features best suited to meet the client's needs; works with clients to manage and reduce their risk.* Recommends and implements a client’s insurance coverage, premiums and collects payment; promotes Brio/Interlake Insurance products and services.* Support the achievement of department and organizational goals as well as actively participates in regular staff meetings.* Maintain open communication and cooperation with other staff to ensure a friendly and efficient work environment.* Maintain thorough knowledge of and adhere to organizational policies and procedures on risk management, confidentiality, security and fraud prevention. This list is not inclusive and other tasks and/or responsibilities may be assigned by your supervisor. **Essential Qualifications*** Level 1 or working towards Level 1 Brokers license* Demonstrated desire to serve others in a friendly and professional manner* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written* Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy* Ability to work in fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure* Ability to prioritize using sound judgment to make timely and effective decisions* Knowledge of Brio Insurance products and services* Ability to follow standardized policies and procedures* Knowledge of risk management within the insurance industry* Proficient computer skills**Employee Sub-Type**RegularIf you are interested in this position, apply today
