Hiring Mechanical Assemblers for an Afternoon Shift in Aldergrove Paying up to $28/hr Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will be involved in the assembly of truck‑mounted concrete boom pumps. This role requires precision and an aptitude for mechanics, as you will be responsible for assembling the body of trucks, concrete boom attachments, and various components. Responsibilities Assemble bodies of trucks and concrete boom attachments. Fit and assemble pipes, flanges, tool boxes, steps, and various parts for the pumps on trucks. Ensure correct fitting of all parts. Run airlines and remove/assemble fuel tanks. Use hand tools and power tools to fit different parts into a single product. Read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings. Measure accurately to the closest 1/16 of an inch. Perform repetitive tasks while standing. Maintain tools and clean shop environment. Follow work orders diligently. Essential Skills 2+ years of heavy mechanical assembly experience with large equipment such as tractors, forklifts, and cranes. Ability to read production schematics. Ability to read a tape measure to 1/18 of an inch. Possession of own set of tools. Capability to lift 50lbs. Proficiency in blueprint reading, grinding, and assembling using hand and power tools. Knowledge of truck equipment, hydraulics, and wiring. Nice to Have Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes. Experience in assembly of concrete pumps. Background in sandblasting, industrial painting, or polishing. Ability to multitask and work independently. Strong problem‑solving skills. Organizational skills and overall professionalism.
