Support welcoming dining service at Four Points by Sheraton Kelowna Airport through hosting, food running, and guest communication.
The Host/Support associate supports front-of-house and food service operations for smooth, efficient dining experiences. Duties include seating guests, managing waitlists, running food, and expediting. The position reports to the Food & Beverage Manager and requires Serving It Right certification, communication skills, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and assist with seating and waitlists
- Answer basic menu, dietary, and restaurant questions
- Run food and coordinate timing between kitchen and servers
- Maintain clean, organized host and service areas
- Support banquet setups, in-room dining, and off-site events
Requirements:
- Serving It Right Certification
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Commitment to high customer service standards
- Ability to remain calm in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work independently and with teams
